At times, it can be quite difficult to manage all the key areas within a small business. If I could give one piece of advice for small businesses, it would be to make sure that your brand marketing and your core message are clear. I was doing some marketing business basics with a customer of mine recently. Although their website provided all the necessary information regarding their company, it was too complicated to understand what they actually did.  We made some changes to the website and simplified the services section. We took  3 core services and tailored them to the homepage. Therefore, the customer would immediately see exactly what the company provides as soon as they log on to the webpage. That can be applied to all areas of your business such as;


Your website, your marketing mix, marketing materials,and ultimately the message your customers get from you as a business.
